Many of Kamala Harris’s supporters, even before she appeared on stage with Biden, marched in a singing procession to the stage from Howard University – a historic university predominantly attended by African Americans, where the current vice president also studied.
The event took place outside Washington, while Donald Trump was speaking at a press conference from his golf resort in Bedminster. This was already the second press conference of the Republican candidate within just two days, and once again he criticized Harris.
Trump argued that he has the „right to personal attacks” on his opponent, and touched on his favorite campaign topics – inflation, crime, and immigration. Surrounded by food products, he asked, „How is a family supposed to afford this?”
In the last month, inflation in the United States rose at the slowest pace in over three years, which meant significant relief for many consumers. High prices remain a major concern for many Americans.
Furthermore, on Thursday, another significant event took place in the USA, as reported by the media, namely the decision of the Secret Service to use bulletproof glass to protect Donald Trump during his campaign rallies held in open spaces.
Typically, such measures are used only for sitting presidents, but the situation changed after the failed assassination attempt on Trump in July of this year. The Secret Service has not yet commented on these revelations.
